CARMAN BURY

A self-taught artist who works with reclaimed and re-purposed materials, especially fabrics. She is influenced by mythology, fairy tales and folklore. “I am very inspired by ceremony,” explains Bury. “Especially iconography and the things that people do as part of ceremony.” Her work incorporates elements of ceremony, vintage influences and classical art.
